CENTRE FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE PALAKKAD
Government Engineering College, Sreekrishnapuram has been registered as the Sub Centre of Continuing Education Programme under Centre for Continuing Education Kerala (CCEK) with Registration Number CE/E/210/2010. The Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) is functioning in this institution since 2010. The CCE coordinates the continuing education programs of the Institute. The CCE helps to organize Continuing Education Programs aimed at imparting skills to the students. It also shall arrange short-term courses meant for faculty in professional institutions. By utilizing the laboratory resources, CCE coordinates various engineering testing and consultancy activities by all the Departments. The Centre is currently located alongside the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The institution has a good collection of equipment for testing and certification. Concrete structures and cubes are tested and certified. Also consultancy works are undertaken to certify the equipment after field visits. Participants interested in lifelong learning and those willing to develop professional skills, can attend the courses offered by the CCE. The target audience of the courses are in-service technical persons from various Govt./Semi Govt. organisations, public and private undertakings, research institutions and industries. Fee Structure The fee of each course may vary according to the duration of course, subject area, the number of participants, etc., which will be announced in the related course brochure. The TADA and honorarium of the expert for different consultancy work are determined as per the institutional guidelines.
