It is a matter of immense pride and joy to lead Government Engineering College Palakkad, an institution that has completed *25 years of its journey in technical education and service to society. Over these years, the institution has grown steadily through the dedicated efforts of its faculty, technical and administrative staff, students, alumni, and well-wishers. We remain committed to strengthening academic excellence, research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry collaboration. The institution has made significant progress in research, with **four PhDs successfully produced during the last one year, reflecting our growing research culture. Our academic programmes, accreditation initiatives, postgraduate education, and research activities continue to enhance the academic profile of the institution. The establishment of the **Centre of Excellence in Electric Vehicle and the E-Mobility Lab* marks an important step towards promoting emerging technologies, hands-on learning, and industry-oriented research. We are also continuously improving our infrastructure, laboratories, learning facilities, and sustainable campus initiatives to provide a vibrant environment for teaching, learning, and innovation. Our collaborations with industries, academic institutions, and R&D organisations provide valuable opportunities for students and faculty to engage with real-world challenges and emerging technologies. As we move forward, our collective vision is to transform GEC Palakkad into a *centre of excellence in technical education, research, innovation, and societal development*.
